No I’m not. I had an Orientee this weekend. It helped on the busy nights because she did most of the paperwork. I’d help her with most of it. Marsha has been there longer than I have, but she’s not very organized. Don’t get me wrong Marsha’s a great nurse. She’s there 2 hours past end of her shift every day getting paperwork done.
I’ve been following the Getting Things Done thread at 43 folders with half an eye. I’m thinking about how to apply it to nursing. Because all the recommendations lately have been turn down your email, let your phone catch the voicemails. Well you can’t turn off a call light or set them to only alert once every hour. I’ll have to consider it and if I figure out some tips I’ll post them.
