I’ve been working. Yeah, I know…. I do a lot of that. I’ve also been working on data entering all the info on the family history I have from the Thigpen & Connections book….
I found a program to allow me to get RSS feeds in Outlook 2003. intraVnews. Allows you to recieve blog posts and rss news feeds in Outlook just like an email. And the best part is that it is free for personal use. It requires Outlook XP or 2003. I can now read all my friend’s blogs and livejournals when I check my email….
I was using Bloglet, but Laura switched her blog to WordPress and Bloglet doesn’t yet support that. And you know I have to read my former roommate’s blog…. Plus I get my subscribed blog posts right after they’re posted not the next day.
I’ve also got Yahoo News subscribed (the one’s I’m interested in anyway). Also thanks to Tapestry I get some of my comics via RSS feed too. I still need to find Heathcliff, Luann, Frank and Ernest, Garfield, and Non Sequiter. And I wish I could get Queen of Wands by RSS too. If anyone knows how just comment….
I’m now re-reading Sea Swept by Nora Roberts. It’s the first book in the Chesapeak Bay Series (currently only 4 books are out). The series started out as a Trilogy with Sea Swept, Rising Tides, and Inner Harbor. Then fans demanded the younger boy’s story so she wrote Chesapeak Blue.
