New York to Dallas by J.D. Robb
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I like to make predictions for the mysteries in this series. Since we learn who the main villian is at the start of the books, the mystery was who was Issac McQueen’s acomplice.
My first prediction was that it was one of his former captives who was brainwashed by him. Then I did the math. If she was 15 when she was held captive & if she was from one of McQueen’s previous abductions then if could have been about 15 years since her abduction, but that would only place her as approximatley 30 years of age. Which is too young for the acomplice.
Only about a chapter or two before it was revealed did I start to suspect that it was Eve’s mother.
I did miss Peabody & Feeney being involved in the case. I enjoy those characters and missed thier contributions.
Another thing I missed was that the title didn’t have “in Death” in the title.
