Had an interesting Neuro case in the ER last night. We were about to transfer him to the floor when he started sweating. He was looking bad. The floor would have kicked our ass for admitting him to them instead of an ICU. Ammonia level came back high. Pupils about 7 and sluggish. We transfered him to NeuroTrauma ICU. Heard later that they had to intubate him. I don’t think he’ll make it.
