Why do I feel the compulsion to act the role of her mother?
On another subject. . .
I missed the bus home today. I had to stay over for a Joint Commission education thing. It went over what time I expected. So I try to call MATA & negotiate their phone system. The public transportation system in this town is so screwed up. I could not comprehend it. I had to call who was on his break at work. He understands the system better. Anyway he was able to tell me that the next bus was an hour after the one I normally take.
So I have had 3 hours sleep and I have to work a 12 hour shift tonight.
Update on Methodist: I finally got in contact with the OR Staff Development Specialist. I start hospital orientation on Monday. I start OR orientation on Wednesday. I will work on my schedule then. They are very undisclosing on what color scrubs we wear. But I talked to a weekender that also works at Methodist. She says they don’t care but they don’t approve of black or denim scrubs.
I need to go have my TB skin test read.
It is raining outside. No wonder I can not sleep. I guess back on midnights and I am back to predicting rain.
