Book made it to 80

Posted on July 2, 2009 by agd.tanya

Yesterday morning Book hit Level 80. I’ve been playing Book in World of Warcraft since January. This was my first character I ever created. Now keep in mind I have friends who have played since the beta. But I finally decided to try it. I did my OCD thing with it, but that’s about par for the course for me. I started with the Lunar Festival. I hit 80 during the Midsummer Fire Festival. Lethann can probably remember when I was frustrated with playing when I first started and shoved my laptop (I was sitting on the floor at the time so it didn’t have far to fall). I hated the game at that point. But then she figured out I was spamming the "Attack" button which is really an auto-attack. I was turning on & off my auto-attack. So of course things were ending badly at that point. I was litterally going to quit playing. I think I was about level 4 or so at the time. I really hate dying in a game. Which is the biggest reason I don’t play many games. Plus I hate "you MUST defeat boss X to continue." If I can’t, I’m stuck there in the game. And I get frustrated that I can’t just bypass it. Or do something else in the game. But in WoW, only dungeons are like that. And you don’t have to do dungeons.
(I love the fact that wordpress now has post via e-mail.)
