I haven’t logged into Ficlets in over a month. I log into find that my ficlet “Skinny Dipping” had 6 new comments in the last 2 weeks. It was a little short story that I managed to write with two of the characters running around in my head. I tend to make characters in my mind, but I can’t seem to capture them on paper correctly for more than a paragraph or two. I really need to try to write more. If I write more, I seem to write better. Or at least I like my writing more if I’m more practiced. I have one story that’s been in the works almost 2 years, but I can say it’s up to 8 typewritten pages which probably makes it the longest thing I’ve ever written. However it’s in parts. Many parts. There are big gaping voids that need to be filled in to type the parts together. Some of my other stories are parts of a larger story, but I just let the part stand alone.
Now I have Wrote the Longest Word running through my head.
Make me stop.
