Inspired by several lists in the past I’m going to do several of my favorite websites/apps. Now granted I’m not always on to the latest and greatest thing, but I have been on the Net since wayyyyy back in the internet stone ages of Spring 1996. I’ve abandoned more sites than most users can name. Yes, when you HAD to know HTML for a web page I had one. Back when NO ONE had a digital camera and scanners were hard to come by. And I was a Chemistry/Pre-Med major, not a Comp Sci major.
Note: All of my feeds are programmed into http://feeds.feedburner.com/TatianaSuprglu where there are feeds available.
1. Google Reader
My shared items: http://www.google.com/reader/shared/16585654358633536537
This is the RSS feed reader that Iâ™m using. I can access this from any computer. Plus you can use keyboard shortcuts to scroll through to the next article. Considering I read over 100 posts per day the ability to start to read one that doesnâ™t interest me and skip it quickly is very handy. Plus when Iâ™m traveling and itâ™s more convent to utilize another personâ™s computer rather than my own, I can still access it. Plus I can share articles. Iâ™ve got the feed put into the Yahoo Pipes backend for my feeds combination.
2. Del.icio.us

Or use the last.fm Internet radio to listen to you personalized radio. The site takes the music you listen to the most and makes recommendations based on that. Also they have a journaling area. And you can post to your blog via it.

URL: http://www.skype.com
Username: NursingStudio
Okay this is a program not a website. Itâ™s a kind of Voice over Internet Protocol (the much talked about VoIP). It integrates IM, telephone calling and video calling. I however donâ™t have a web cam so I canâ™t do the video calling. Iâ™ll probably use this when
10. Google Calendar
URL: http://calendar.google.com
This is an easy to use calendar. I love it cause I can get reminder text messages of appointments, plus I can share events with others. I can look at my roommateâ™s calendar to see if sheâ™s available if I want to go do something. If she is I can share the event with her. Plus when entering an event it understands normal syntax such as âœ7pm Work ICUâ is placed starting at 7pm and the title is Work ICU. Quick, & easy.

TV. I enjoy my TV, but I hate trying to keep up with the schedule. Too many channels to keep up with. I like shows. Not a channel. So I favorite all the shows I like shows up on a customized TV guide. I tell it which TV service I use. 23. Gmail
URL: http://www.gmail.com
Itâ™s email with over 2 GB of storage. I donâ™t delete most messages that come here. I just archive them. And I donâ™t have to worry about which folder I saved something in.
