Well, for the most part today was a good day. Visted the demo apt of the new apts. Got measurements and did some mock ups for floor planning. BTW Furniture.com has a room planner that’s pretty good. Our living room is tiny 11′ x 12′ with no dining room. I’ll try to remember and post some of the photos of the acutal apt once we get stuff moved in. The living room opens into the kitchen through the bar area. I’m hoping that we’ll have room for barstools once we get everything in and settled. It will give eating and seating space.
I get the master bedroom which is a whopping 13′ x 14′ (‘s is 11′ x 11′). She had the master bedroom in Memphis and since she was already here she has the master bedroom here. The guest bedroom/office is 11′ x 10’ and has it’s own bathroom. We’ll put the daybed and both desks in there although the modem will be in the living room. Oh, and the washer & dryer are in my bedroom. Don’t ask. I don’t know what they were smoking designing these places, but I hope it was some good stuff.
