Just got off the phone with the geeks from FA Davis. They seem to be the tech braintrust. They seemed disappointed that server space was free for me (thanks to Laura) and that the RSS was done by a FREE Open Source Software program. They were a little concerned with my connection to Drexel, but calmed some when I told them it was the reproduction copyright in exchange for a link deal. They seemed a little disappointed in that they couldn’t offer me server space or RSS production. Kirk thought the podcast was about NCLEX and stuck his foot in his mouth about it.
Kirk Pedrick -found site, foot in mouth, coordinate electronic offerings
Sandy Glennie -no show, coordinate electronic offerings
Bob Martone -quite, less techy, editor in charge of NCLEX titles
Tom Ciavarella -the emailer, project editor
They seemed really impressed that I took the NCLEX in 1 hour. They assumed I only had 75 questions, which was correct. And that I was doing all this after only being out of school for 2 years and being a night shift nurse.
Even if I don’t work with them some of the ideas are good. Bob came up with the idea of documentation tips for the diagnoses.
