I went into physical therapy this morning after working all night. I had over used my shoulder reaching up for small little items that we keep in the top shelves. So when I was doing the pulley exercises my hand went numb again and my shoulder was sooo tight. They had to ice me down at the end of therapy.
Had a pt die last night. Kidney & liver failure. We knew she was going and she did so slowly. I knew she was dying when they transfered her down to me Friday night. They ended up making her a Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) Saturday. The family was real accepting of it. The son told her if she wanted to go that was okay, but if she wanted to stay that was okay too. Her poor little old husband had just buried his mother about 6 weeks prior to this.
